• The Butler Chain of Lakes is only a tiny part of Central Florida's 2,500 lakes which cover a total of 4,000 square miles!

  • Lake Butler is the largest lake of the chain covering 1,665 acres and Lake Isleworth (where our tours begin) is the smallest at just 10 acres.

  • The lakes have a speed limit of 36 mph and are  patrolled by the Local Sheriffs Department to ensure safety.

  • The lakes can be as deep as 40 feet and as shallow as just 1 foot in places.

  • Bird Island is situated in Lake Butler and is off limits to the public. It is owned by the Audubon Society and is a Bird Sanctuary. It is home to many species of bird including Osprey's and Bald Eagle's.

  • The lakes are surrounded by multi-million dollar homes of the rich and famous. Your captain will point out the homes of interest during your tour. To respect owners privacy, our boat will maintain a distance of 50 yards from residences.
